All of Joe’s art is made by-hand in rural Grafton, Ohio where he was born and has lived for most of his life. After 35 years as an art teacher spanning everything from first grade through college instruction, he enjoys spending time in his art studio creating types of custom art.
Although most of Joe’s work today is in ceramics, he also creates custom art pieces in stained glass, portrait painting, wood carving, and sculpture.
Since the mid-70’s his work has been shipped to and is enjoyed in all corners of the world from Poland to China and throughout most of the United States.
Joe is a dedicated husband, dad and grandpa. He’s shared his talents and has a family full of professional and budding artists. He’s also committed to his town and church where he volunteers many hours a year including his leadership of the Grafton Railroad Historical Society that helps retain local history of trains and their impact on the community.
